Dynamic leadership involves the frequent honing of soft skills such as being a good coach or motivator. Always take the initiative to evaluate each and every employee. Try to find out their work capacity and capability. A good leader always find ways to improve the work habits of his subordinates by delegating tasks and responsibilities over to them. More work translates to more experience, and more experience translates to better work efficiency.

An employee is invigorated when his ideas are considered and his hard work recognized.

Constancy of purpose is also an important aspect of good leadership. Constant practice and constant learning drives the potential leader to greater achievements. As work environments rapidly change, so does the frequency of the practice and learning to keep up the pace. Self-discipline is required to strengthen this endeavor. Everything must adhere to strict discipline for a good leader to perform effectively. No matter how hard an individual practice or learn other ways to accomplish his ideas or business plans, they are nothing without the desire and discipline to do it.

Proper delegation of work to deserving employees can also be a good motivating factor. When an employee is given a major task that can give him the opportunity to prove his worth, then he is most likely to accomplish it utmost diligence. Delegating jobs to subordinates empowers and gives them the impression of being responsible and trustworthy. Delegating tasks also reflects on an individual’s effective leadership as he can spot people within his organization that can accomplish the job at hand. It can also decentralize the manager’s workload giving him the opportunity to concentrate on other goals needed in the organization.

A good leader is also a competent conversationalist and an effective listener. He can carry positive conversations that can enlighten or invigorate his subordinates. Injecting fresh ideas can lead employees to start anew and with broader direction. Being able to listen to employee suggestion also create a form of motivation. When a low level worker is given the chance to convey his ideas and contribute to the company’s success, then more employees will most likely be emboldened to do the same. This healthy exercise can prevent unwanted criticism and unnecessary conflicts between co-workers, thereby increasing their ability to finish their jobs more efficiently.

To sum it all up, an effective leader is only as good as the skills and talents he has acquired. If he fails to keep up with the trend of an ever-changing workplace, then he becomes an inefficient and ineffective figurehead.
